My weekend

This weekend I had a party for some of my friends. It was kind of my birthday party (though my bday is May 19th) and also a goodbye party. I'm saying goodbye to my appartment. I've lived here for a year and now I've bought a 1-bedroom. My first buy!!! Now I don't have to move all the time AND I can decorate it just the way I want. YAY!

Of course I forgot to take a full pic of my outfit. But I was wearing the ruched bust dress from Asos Curve that I got on sale for £12. It felt really nice to wear and has just the perfect lenght for me (just above the knee - I'm 5'7''/1,72 m). On the right pic it's me and my friend Nina.
Sunday I went to a nearby park with my sister and her dog. Just an improvised picnic. The weather was so nice and we needed the air after the party. Here's what I wore:

Headband: H&M
Fox Tee: Asos Curve
Longline Vest: Evans
Ski Pant leggings: Asos Curve
Ballerinas: Evans
Sunglasses: H&M

And here are a few more pics from our relaxing day. Spring has finally come to Denmark!

Yay for spring!

We're so pretty...
Hope you guys had a great weekend, too!
P.S. 20 followers now, thank you so much. Soon I'll launch a contest for you!

Beauty Crush

OMG you guys!

For more Soap & Glory head on over to their own webpage here

I just did my daily browse on Asos and fell head over heels for some of their newest beauty products. I don't know about you, but I think these are freaking adorable! They'd look great in my bathroom and they sound like they are awesome. I love the whole retro feel, kind of like Benefit. Have any of you tried Soap & Glory products? I know that these are no strangers to americans, canadians and brits. What are they like? My only concerne is that some of them are vanilla scented. Ever since I played with vanilla scented dolls as a kid (what were their names again? They had muffin trays...) I've had an issue with vanilla scented products. But I love the style and at prices ranging from £4-£15 they are defintely not too expensive.

Scrub 'Em And Leave 'Em, Body Scrub £7/$10,80/60DKK
Sexy Mother Pucker Perfect Peach, Lip Plumber £8/$12,30/68DKK

Also this mint chocolate muffin lip balm has to be mine. Shame that the muffin shape is only cardboard!
Cupcake Mint Chocolate Lip Balm, £3/$4,60/25,50DKK

My apologies / Sinful Sunday Recipe #2

Sorry you guys, I have been neglecting you and I feel really bad! Right now I'm stressing over a paper that is due on Tuesday. It's in literary criticism and I have to write 4-5 pages on different theories. It's not a lot to write, but there's a lot to read before I can really start writing. Looks like an all-nighter (and thank God for Monday!).

I can tell you that I was more than tempted when Asos had their mid-season sale. I bought 5 items for only £37 (!!!) and I'm waiting for the vulcanic ashes to dissappear from the atmosphere over Europe so that I will receive them! As an apology Asos sent a discount code for my next purchase that will expire May 16th: CLOUD1604 . We'll see if I'll use it, I didn't really have any money to buy something this time, so I shouldn't... (but now I shared it with you!) Once the clothes arrive I'll try and do a review quite quickly.

Anyways, I hope you're all having a more interesting Sunday evening than me. I'll leave you with a Sinful Sunday Recipe... (another thing I've neglected, sorry!)

Good times

I'm still kinda busy with uni, I have two papers due next week and I'm really behind. I still ended up going to two parties the past weekend, but I don't regret a minute of it! I had so much fun!!! Friday night there was a Heaven & Hell party at uni and a few of my friends and I warmed up at my place. I ended up with a really good buzz (thanks to Philip for the Fernet Branca shots!) and was surprised that I felt good enough to go to another party Saturday. We had 12 bottles of booze left over from our Christmas Party at uni and some of the students that are a year below me, thought they should be put to use. They had an awesome evening planned with games and all. I wasn't home before 6 am! Here are a few pics for you to enjoy, sadly I forgot to take a full figured one...

Evans Cravings

Here's my wish list from Evans (a bit later than promised, sorry!). They have lots of really cool stuff at the moment and even though this list contains quite a few things, I have even more on my list on their web page!
As you can see I don't just stick to one style. I like to dress according to my mood - sometimes a little more on the rock'n'roll side with studs and black on black, sometimes I like to show my feminine side in something floral and pastel - sometimes I combine both. My inner rock goddess is very excited about the lace blazer, big buttoned waistcoat and the Alice Tee. Paired with black jeggings and wedges and matched with a dark nailpolish I'd be ready to take any stage, even if only an imaginary one...

Click on the pics for more info
My ultra feminine side loves the nude lace dress. I have to have it... soon. It looks very comfortable and easy to style. Plus it doesn't seem too fitted which suits my figure best. With the mint green knitted dress I'd be taking a risk, but it's one I might just be willing to take. It's really cute and I love the colour! I've never worn anything like it before, but somehow I'm still very drawn to it. A floral dress/tunic is a must this spring and summer and I have my eye on several. I need to decide on just one. Or two...

Jeggings and leggings are my kind of legwear as I'm wider around my waist and regular jeans tend to be tight around my tummy, but loose around my hips and bum. I try to buy them in different colours, lenghts, materials and designs so it doesn't always end up being plain blacks. Acid washes, studs, crops and denim, denim, denim are right on trend this season. I'm also looking for a pair of floral leggings. Let me know if you find any!

I need a new wallet and this one is übercute and perfect for spring and summer.
The red ballerinas are really cool as well and they'd look great with both jeans, shorts and dresses!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Today I'm going to a traditional danish easter lunch, where there will be lots of food and drinks (a.k.a schnaps, yuck!) Here's a pic from last year to show you just HOW crazy it will get... it's my sister and 3 L Fernet Branca!

Enjoy the Holiday people
xoxo
