And you found me when my circus was in town

Hat: H&M
Boots & clutch: Pieces
Owl ring: Primark
Pink ring: H&M

Watch out, Zizzi is coming!!!

Kjolen her passer mig okay.

I have just returned from a weekend in Billund with my wonderful colleagues and a lot of other Zizzi girls. Our chefs in Ball Group had invited us to "Plus Weekend" where we had dinner, free bar and dancing Saturday night. Sunday we had a lecture with danish actress/ex-model/entertainer Lotte Heise, got styling tips from hairstylist and makeup artist Mike, we were presented the autumn and winter collections fromZizzi, Zay and ZJ , saw a fashion show and cleaned out the samples. It was a really good event and I enjoyed myself tremendously with my colleagues- especially Anna, who I shared a room with. There'll be a lot of  amazing clothes in stores over the next few months, I can tell you! Although I did not agree with many of their styling choices, they have really managed to make some cool and edgy stuff. Some of the things that caught my eye were faux leather pants, jeans with a dark grey, washed look, black jeans with a shiny  treatment, a black blazer with faux leather, a short faux fur jacket, a black bolero with chains on the shoulders, long, chunky knit sweaters, cardigans with leather patches at the elbows and a lot of cool blouses/tunics with batwing sleeves and cape effect. I'm really looking forward to getting these things and more in store (and spend all my hard earned money on them ...). I couldn't help but having associations to carmakoma when I saw a lot of the black and edgy clothing- but that's just great! Watch out, Zizzi is coming!

Saturday evening I wore my new dress from H&M Inclusive. I hadn't planned on buying something from there, but since there were sales on the sale and I got another 50% off, I had to try some of their things. I'd read that many other bloggers found the sizes extremely small, so I ordered two dresses in a size EU54 (UK26) and a skirt in 52, which is two sizes larger than I normally use. This dress suits me fine. It's tight across the chest, but because there's a chiffon layer, I can still use it. The second dress I ordered did not fit at all and I therefore sold it on to a friend. The skirt fits me really well, and you'll  probably get to see it on the blog soon. I don't care what size it says on the tag, but I think that it's a little crazy, that H&M make their plus-sizes so small. Had it not been because I hardly had to pay anything for the clothes, I wouldn't have ordered it. That being said, I think that this dress is really pretty. It's a good length and color and the quality seems fine. As I wasn't in the mood for the whole princess look, I paired the dress with my new hat, chunky boots and socks. I'm really happy with the result! I hope you all had a great weekend x

  1. It's the first time I come across you blog and i've been lurking and like it! You look so nice in that dress and yes, it's quite anoying that sizes are smaller than they should! In Spain every size is smaller than EU average size guide, for example if you use UK20/EU48 in Spain will be a 52! crazy I know!! Ok, sorry for rambling a lot, ha! xx
