All good things come to those who wait...

Here's a sneak peak at some of the details for my outfit this Friday, where I'll be attending the biggest party of the year at Uni: the Christmas Party. As usual it's the new students (freshmen) that are planning it, so I'm excited to see what they've come up with. I'm going all in with tulle, pink and glitter. This Saturday, all will be revealed in December's Six Take. Are you excited for the result? I am!

It's the darkest hour right before the dawn

There's always a light in the dark
Fresh and soft feet will do the trick: Shiseido Body Creator, Avon Foot Works, The Body Shop Monoi Miracle Oil and Depend Nailpolish
Günter Grass books for my project and a cup of Women's Yogi Tea

I'm spending my evening pampering myself and trying to read for my project after a long weekend full of work and mental up's and down's. I hope you've had a great weekend!

Smells Like Teen Spirit (feat. Vlog #4)

Shirt: Yours Clothing (previous collection)
Top: ZJ ( Zizzi Jeans)
Shorst: DIY from a pair of New Look Jeans
Beanie: H&M
Tube scarf: bit'avant
Sneakers: Converse
Belt, socks, tights & ring: unknown

Anyways: god weekend!

Here's a little post to keep you warm this Friday night, if you're at home like I am, that is. Work is waiting for me tomorrow, so tonight it's just me and Dancing with the Stars. Today's outfit was very casual and kind of 90's, I've just been home studying. I've also done a new vlog, where I tell you a bit about what's going on in my life at the moment. But I'm not as sad as (I think) I seem in it. Anyways: have a great weekend!

Take a running leap through the hoop, even if it's in flames

Top: ZJ (Zizzi Jeans)
Wedges: Jette Riis
Necklace & charms: Pilgrim
Ring: Glitter

On Saturday I received a package all the way from Australia. The lovely ladies at 17 Sundays let me pick some lush items from their shop and they arrived 4 days later! The entire experience was amazing- from the first contact with Claire at 17's, to the mail man arriving with a huge smil and a contagious good mood, to the beautiful packaging and the amazing fit of it all. What more could a girl ask for? In this post I'll show you two of the items: a crochet knit tunic and a pair of wet look leggings. The tunic is amazingly soft and fits like a dream. I love the lenght, the cut and the hoops- it feels really comfortable to wear, too. The edgy leggings with the wet look effect and the jersey panels, have already become a favourite of mine. They fit super tight and perfect in the legs, but are a bit loose around my waist. It's usually the other way around for me! I'm making them work anyways and I can easily wear them as they are. I love how über trendy they are and also that they don't lose their shape, as I find a lot of leggings do after a couple of hours. Be aware that the sizing chart at 17 Sundays isn't completely reliable just yet. I'm working with them to get the european sizes just right. It's tough, as there are so many different charts out there. For reference the tunic is an L and the leggings are an M. This was my outfit for Breaking Dawn by the way, which I went and saw with my sister, who was over for a super quick visit. I'm a huge Twilight geek and I'd been looking forward to the movie for ages. Despite bad reviews I absolutely loooved it and I can't bare the thought of having to wait another year for the next (and last...) movie. What about you- are you a sucker for Vamps, too?

As we walk in the fields of gold

Sheer blouse: Zizzi
Top: ZJ (Zizzi Jeans)
Sequin skirt: Vero Moda
Tights: Evans
Necklace: H&M
Clutch: monki
Hair bow: Glitter
Boots: Pieces

As promised I'll reveal what the gold sequins from my last post are: it's a tube skirt! When I saw this fierce piece in the store window, I had to try it on. It's an XL and it fits perfectly. This only goes to show that you shouldn't let sizing stop you- I often find cute stuff in "regular" stores. I'm crazy about sequins at the moment and even though this isn't the most practical item in my closet, I love it! And wearing it makes me happy and instantly boosts my mood. Do you know that feeling?

How can they see with sequins in their eyes?

(score!)

I thought I'd show you my newest accessories.
I love rings- especially the chunky and different kind! So when I saw these, I knew I had to have them. Glitter has become one of my favourite places to shop for cool jewelry. I admit that the quality isn't the best and my fingers do tend to turn green after a good while... but the prices are affordable and also I'm not planning to wear a huge eagle on my finger for several years, LOL. I also bought a chain for my Coexist charm and also a new charm in the shape of a cross. I think those two go well together and represent not only my background, but also my believe, that everyone should be able to stay true to their own faith with us all just co-existing. Also crosses are super hot right now... (score!)

 Rings: Glitter
Chain & charms: Pilgrim (Coexist is from a previous collection)

Oh yeah, I also bought this super cute sequinned thing from Vero Moda.
Can you guess what it is? I promise to show it to you very soon.

I'm back! Have you missed me? I've finally got my hands on a new camera (actually my brother-in-law's old one) and I'm planning on posting more regularly again. These pics however, were taken with my parents' camera.

Last night I was at a concert in Odense. My friend Morten's band Heidra played a gig along with two other wiking-metal bands. I've seen them before in Copenhagen, but this was a much better experience. The venue, sound and atmosphere was better and there was a bigger crowd. I could definitely feel Morten taking in a lot more energy from the audience and he did awesome on stage. Usually it's not my scene at all, but I'm starting to really like both the music and the people. It's important to challenge yourself and expand your horizons.

Just like last time I decided not to risk anything and I left my pinks and flowerprints at home. Instead I went for a rock-chick-kind-of-look with my new pleather pants. I was quite worried that they'd get all icky and hot, but that wasn't the case at all. The only slight trouble I had with them was that they have quite a low waist, so they tend to slide down a bit when I'm sitting. A longer top solves that though and I love them! Unfortunately I didn't take close-up's of my necklace which features lyrics from the title song of True Blood, one of my favourite tv-shows. It's shown here in the top pic though. Also the cropped jacket has a cool elbow detail with flat metal studs. You'll have to see that another time. I felt great in my outfit and had a great night! What did you dolls do this weekend?

Six Take: Halloween

I didn't think I was gonna be able to do my Halloween post, as my camera and memory card was stolen at the Halloween party Friday. But then I remembered that I'd prcaticed my make-up a few days in advance and taken pictures of it. They're not great and I also ended up choosing another top (and totally ripping it), painting "the eyes" blue instead of red/brown and covering myself in theatre blood (in these pictures I just practiced with lipstick). Besides that I wore purple, torn up tights, purple cheetah print kneehigh socks, a black skinny belt, red flats, a cupcake lunchbox as a purse and rainbow coloured nails. But at least you can get some sort of idea of my costume. I was supposed to be a dead manga/anime girl. My friend Kristian did my hair- he made high pigtails and curled them like a doll. It was a huge success and I'm SO upset I don't have a single picture of the finished outfit or from the party. It looked smashing with all the theatre blood!
