 Such wonderful ladies!

On Friday night I attended the first of the two runway shows: Indie Designers. Tanja and I got a cab all the way Down Town to the beautiful Broad Street Ballroom. I'd been looking forward to 17 Sundays and Ashley Nell Tipton, and they didn't let me down! I also enjoyed a lot of pieces from other designers, and I'll do seperate posts on my favourite picks. Once again I represented Danish design and wore Carmakoma, who have sponsored clothes for the trip. I want to point out that I picked my own pieces and styled them as I wanted to, and I couldn't have been happier. Especially this dress was a piece I couldn't wait to wear. It's incredibly comfortable and fits like a dream. I received many looks and comments on it, though I'm not sure the American audience appreciated my cool and kind of rock-inspired styling of it. It's amazing how there's such a huge difference in Danish and American fashion, design and styling! But I had a great night, felt hot and pretty damn tough, haha!
