Indie Designer Showcase - the best of the rest [FFFW #8]

There's so much to show you, but to not overwhelm you, I've chosen my favourite pieces from the rest of the Indie Designer Show. There were some things that didn't appeal to my personal style - I think there's quite a difference in American and European/Scandinavian design - but there was also a lot of awesome stuff. You already know how much I loved 17 Sundays and Ashley Nell Tipton's collections, but besides them I fell in love with Youtheary Khmer and several pieces from the rest of the designers. For the full version of the show, check out this link. Once again it's Danimezza who's been so kind to share her photos.

Youtheary Khmer:

Yay!

I loved all the bright and pastel colours. Very girly and chic! I could see myself rocking most of the collections, and having just looked at their website, it's also very reasonably priced! Yay!

Curvato Clothing:

Bold and glamorous designs, where I especially liked these two dresses, that really make a statement!

Jibri:

Jibri won the award for best plus-size designer of the year, and I really liked her vision. The structure and materials looked wonderful, and I especially adore her highwaisted skirts and the bold pantsuit!

Queen Grace Collection:

Queen Grace Collection is all about "celebrating your freedom, your inner confidence and your unique beauty", and I loved the feminine and flowy dresses with details such as embellishment or lace.

 Sorella Swim:

I loved seeing swimwear on the runway and the models rocked it! Look at the amazing Vicky Poole in that purple bikini! I'm more of a bathingsuit girl myself however, and I love how stylish and flattering, yet simple, these pieces were in both silhoutte and fabric. No more huge flower-patterned swimsuits for me!
