Double Up [Burgundy]

Sweater: Vero Moda (previous collection) // Pants: Zizzi (gifted sample) // Boots: Zizzi //
Rings: Glitter, Message & Gina Tricot // Nailpolish: Essie "Wicked"

Husk at kigge forbi Karina her, og se hvordan hun fortolker denne uges tema.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

The days fly by and yet again it's time for a "Double Up" with Karina from Copenhagen Curves. This week's theme is burgundy, as it is once again a strong colour this fall and winter. I'm kind of including everything from plum to wine in this trend, as both the purple and the red notes can be seen on the fashion scene. My sweater is from earlier this year, but I don't think it has made an appearance on the blog, and if so, it's been a while! I still really like the studded cross, and it inspired me to put on a pair of pants that Zizzi gave me after their fashion show in August. These are a sample, but they are really close to the actual style that's in stores now. My colleague thinks that they run a bit small, but these are a size EU 46, and they fit pretty well (they are a bit tight in the waist, but that's because of my apple shape). The pants may be a bit "over the top", but I actually really like it. I could easily see them styled with loads of black and jewelry for a kind of (glam-) rock look. I'll definitely have to try that out! I have to apologize for the extremely boring backdrop in these pictures by the way. The pants surely deserved better, but it had gotten dark outside and there were far too many people in the mall, so I had to make due with this. That's why the lighting is also a bit off: both the studded cross, the rings and the pants are a silver metallic!

Remember to stop by Karina here, and see how she interpreted this week's theme.
