Double Up [Sweater Weather]

Casual, behageligt og stadig right on trend. Husk at kigge forbi Karina her, og se hvordan hun har tolket temaet.

Glæder I jer ligeså meget over efteråret, eller drømmer I jer stadig tilbage til sommeren?

----------------------------------------------------------

I'm finally back on the blog! As some of you may have read on my facebook page, I've been having problems with my laptop's power cable. I had to track down a new one, which proved to be harder than expected. Looks like it's working now though, and I can post this week's "Double Up" with Karina from Copenhagen Curves.

This time we've chosen the theme "Sweater Weather" as the temperature has cooled down, and Autumn is making it's entrance. Time to wrap yourself in lush knits and sweaters, and I simply adore my new cream coloured knitted dress from Carmakoma - it has just the right lenght and thickness, it's nice and soft - and I love that the little slits give a peak to the shoulders. I have it in an M, and even though it fits and is quite true to size, I could have done with sizing up. So if you're looking for a more oversize look, have that in mind. It comes as no suprise, that I teamed the dress up with animal print and one of my beloved hats, and along with my new bomber from Carmakoma, the Autumn look was quickly accomplished. Casual, comfortable and still right on trend. I love when it's this easy! The jacket is a tad on the smaller side - this is also an M, and I can button it up, but it's a bit snug. I would rarely keep it buttoned for long though, so I'd still go for my usual size in this. With these types of jackets, sometimes it's actually better that they are a little bit smaller, because if you don't plan on closing them, they can make you look a bit square. So order accordingly to how you're planning on using it. It's pretty warm by the way! Remember to stop by Karina here, and see how she interpreted the theme.

Are you as happy about Autumn as I am, or are you still dreaming of summer?
