#AcceptNoRules - Zizzi Curvy Fashion Freestyling Show

The big screen displayed the theme of the show, and afterwards showed the pictures we hashtagged all night!
Denise Bidot owning the runway  (#Queen)
Tess Evenboer looked great, and that cardigan is amazing!
Totally in love with this coat and cardigan mix, and Theresa looked fabulous in it!
It was hard balancing instagram/iPhone/camera, so I didn't catch the best picture of this outfit, but I love the jeans with tiny dots, and Sharon Dumfries rocked them! The cardigan is kind of growing on me, too.
Denim on denim has never looked sexier than on ms. Denise Bidot.
We love curves - and I loved the playfulness of the outfit, too!
Danish singer Nabiha killed it!
Again I missed a good shot of this outfit, but I just loved the styling of this trenchcoat, especially the big bow!
Classy, curvy fashion freestyling. I loved this look on Tess.
Kira had such a good time on the runway, and I'm head over heels for this jacket. It has Rikke written all over it!
Ohoy sailor! Denise can pull off anything, really.
I wish the lighting in this photo would do the outfit justice, as I loved the combination of prints and colours. Janneke van Opstal looked beautiful in it.
I really fell for the combination of prints in this outfit. Very quirky!
All the Zizzi designers, models, dancers and Nabiha at the finale.
Nabiha gave us a few more tunes, and told us that now there was no runway: "Everyone get up and dance!"
We also love the smaller curves! Nabiha and her dancers showed true girl power.
And finally, Denise's daughter Joselyn joined Nabiha on the runway - she's the cutest, and such a natural (no wonder!)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Saturday, Zizzi had invited us to their second ever huge fashion show and party during Copenhagen Fashion Week (see my post on their first show from August last year right here). This time it took place at Østerbro at Pakhus 11, and it had more traditional fashion show settings. The theme "Curvy Fashion Freestyling" promised lots of fun, and with Nicoline Toft DJ'ing, Nabiha rocking the mic and Denise Bidot ripping the runway, the night was sure to be filled with kickass girl power. I was busy switching between instagram, video, iPhone and camera, while also trying to enjoy the show and being in the moment, but I did manage to snap some pictures that will hopefully give you a sense of what the show was about, and what the atmosphere was like. They showcase some of my most favourite outfits on the runway anyways.

The show opened with a sea of colours and prints, but my favourite part was the middle one, and that's where most of the pictures above are from. There were so many awesome prints, cool cardigans, amazing jackets and a big mix of prints together, which is right on trend for the upcoming seasons. I predict that quite a few of these items find their way into my wardrobe - especially the leather jacket with black studs, the dogtooth coat and the dotted jeans are on the top of my list. It was such a great show, with really funky and different styling - a bit over the top, but very much in line with the theme, and the audience loved it.

Zizzi had invited us to a party - and what a way to kick it off, with a show like that! The models were drop dead gorgeous, the clothes were amazing, and Nabiha let loose and got everyone involved. So even though I might not have agreed in every styling choice made, I understood the message and was left inspired. We shouldn't let others dictate what we can or cannot wear, we need to break free of the unwritten rules, and we need to have fun with our style. This is a message I can get behind 100%, and I'm so happy that Zizzi once again showed how beautiful curves can be dressed, and how far they have come as a brand since the dark days of leggings and tunics. Zizzi says: #AcceptNoRules. I applaud them, and will add #TheDarkDaysAreOver, and am proud to say: #IAmAZizziGirl.
