Some of the upcoming JUNAROSE styles were hung out for us to look through
I wasn't the only one enjoying the flowers - was I, Hanna? Isabel from JUNAROSE is looking cute in the back

Silly blogger selfie - had to happen!
Looks like selfies were popular that day - here it's Karina and Hanna bonding
Me and my bae, Hanna from The Wardrobe Challenge. Re-united at last!

P.S: Kan I lide mit nye layout?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are a few pictures from about 3 weeks ago, where I stopped by JUNAROSE for their blogger ambassador event at the main office in Copenhagen. Since I'm not an ambassador I didn't attend the entire event, but had been invited over for cake and a chat the last 1½ hours. I was happy to be included, especially since I'm good friends with Hanna from The Wardrobe Challenge and we don't see each other that often, since she lives in London. I also got to meet the other bloggers, amongst them Allegra from the german blog Dollface that I've been following for quite a while. I hope to see them all again sometime, and that we'll have more time to talk. My outfit from the day will be up in a seperate post on Sunday! Have a good weekend until then :-)

P.S: Do you like my new layout?

Life is a flower, so precious in your hand

Dress: Carmakoma // Fannypack: Pieces // Jewelry: Pieces (gifted for review) // Sunglasses: Pieces // Sandals: New Look

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry it's been a bit quiet on the blog lately - I was on a mini vacation in Odense for my 30th birthday last Monday (yikes!). I headed back to Copenhagen with my sister on Thursday, as she was coming over for a long weekend. Yesterday was her last day here, and we went out for a nice walk in a park nearby my house, which was a perfect occassion for outfit pictures, too.

I was wearing my floral spencer dress from Carmakoma paired with black sandals, sunnies, a black fannypack and gunmetal jewelry to create a cool contrast to the florals (plus I wore a burn on my forehead from my straightener, nice!). The dress is a perfect lenght, as you can wear it with shorts underneath, it has pockets, which always is a bonus in my book, and it's currently on sale!

I've had some amazing days with my sister, and almost felt like I was on vacation, since the weather was so nice. What about you - have you had a nice weekend?

I wish I was wearing... #Blue Summer

Blue Summer
Playsuit: Alice & You @Asos Curve // Shopper: Pull & Bear @Asos // Kimono: New Look Inspire //
Sandals: Birkenstock @Asos // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Wayfarers // Nailpolish: OPI "Alpine Snow"

Yes! Win-win!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yaass! The weather is still looking fine in Denmark, and summer is just around the corner now. That's why I continue to dream about flaunting legs and sandals, and I'd love to own the outfit above. It looks like the kimono has sold out (typical), but there are still so many awesome ones out there - like this one from Evans for instance, which would also go really well with the rest of the outfit. I know a lot of you haven't really joined in on the trend yet, but I'm totally getting a pair of Birkenstocks this year. Not only are they super on-trend right now, they are also comfortable to wear. Win-win!

I wish I was wearing... #Spring Chic

Spring Chic
Cream Lace Dress: Ax Curve @New Look // Black Crochet Kimono: New Look // No Rules Shopper: Monki @Asos // Sunglasses: Monki // Chunky Sole Sandals: New Look // Pack of 8 rings: Asos Curve // Maybelline Baby Lips "Dr. Rescue Pink Me Up" @billigvoks // Deborah Lippmann "Blue Orchid" @Nelly // Book: "The fault in our stars" by John Green @Amazon // Evian Mineral Water Spray @Sephora

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love how the summer is back for a short visit in Denmark! I wish it was staying longer, and that's why I'm dreaming of wearing short dresses and sandals again. The outfit above is something I'd put on, jump on my bike and head to the park to read a good book, or wear to go to a café with a friend.

There are worse things I could do

Faux Leather Biker & Daisy Print Skater Dress: Yours Clothing (gifted for review) //
Lace Frill Socks: Asos // Jelly Sandals: New Look @Asos // Sunglasses: old Pieces (similar HERE)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by the british brand Yours Clothing, who wanted to know if I'd like to review some items. I was familiar with the brand, as I'd been shopping with them years ago, but had stopped, when I no longer felt they appealed to my style. After having browsed their website, I really think they've upped their game again, and I found quite a lot of nice things, which is why I happily accepted their offer, and chose this dress and faux leather jacket amongst a few other things.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of the daisy print, which is very popular this spring and summer, and I immediately fell for the lenght and the cut of the dress, too. It sits perfectly on me, is true to size and made out of a nice Viscose, that isn't too thin. I also love the lenght of the sleeves, even if they are a bit wide on me - but I'm sure others will really value their fit, as we're all build differently! The only slightly negative thing I can say about this dress is, that the print "cracks" rather fast. After wearing it only once, the flowers across my bust have already cracked a bit. I don't necessarily mind this, as I do think the dress can pull off some patina, but out of principle, it shouldn't already happen after wearing it once. However, you can't argue with the price, and at £26 you can't expect too much. Over all I really love the dress, and I hope that Yours Clothing will make more in this cut!

I'm crazy about the faux leather jacket. Again, it has the perfect cut for me, as well as the right lenght. Usually I go for silver details, but this one has gold zippers, which I think add a more high-end look. The quality is nice, it doesn't look too "fake", and the sizing is good. If I wanted to zip it or wear it with a jumper underneath, I' would however have to size up. That's not something I plan on doing though, as I always wear my leather jackets open. The jacket is £50, which I think is more than fair, and once again the price and the quality match nicely.

To finish off the outfit and achieve a 90's look, I wore my new jelly sandals (remember those from when you were kids?) with lace socks, which added a cute touch, and gave a nice contrast to the faux leather jacket.

You can find Yours Clothing right HERE - they ship worldwide.

Note: The items were gifted, but as usual, the opinions are my own.

Maybe tonight I'll call ya, after my blood turns into alcohol

Kimono: Monki // Peplum T-shirt: old Asos (similar HERE) // Jeans: old Dorothy Perkins (similar HERE) // Platform Boots: old Asos (similar HERE

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was my outfit last Friday, as I went to Bestseller's Press Day for AW14. I was mainly there to visit JUNAROSE, but also had a look at all the lovely things from Pieces. If you follow me on instagram (@stickysweetdanish), you've already seen several pics. As you could tell from my latest blog post (here), I'm head over heels for kimonos, and this monochrome one from Monki has become a fast favourite. It's onesize, but runs really big, and I think it would fit up to a size EU 50-52 (UK 22-24). It's also available in another color combo, and at 180 DKK (roughly £20 / $33 / 24 Euros) it's a brilliant investment!

[Trend Alert]: Kimonos

Kimonos 2
Mint Rose Print Kimono: Yours Clothing // Pink Floral Tassel Kimono: River Island // Black Floral Tassel Kimono: New Look

Kimonos 3

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kimonos are so hot right now, and here are some of my online favourites at the moment. They are perfect over dresses, but also with skinny jeans and a tee, or over your swimsuit, when summer hits. Use them instead of a blazer or a cardigan now - they go with just about anything! A lot of kimonos are onesize by the way, but don't let that scare you, as they are usually pretty oversize, like the ones from Monki, where I have the monochrome version.

See two of my styling ideas below - and let me know in the comments, how you'd wear your favourite kimono this season?

Runaway Train never going back

Denim Jacket: Monki // Daisy Dress: boohoo plus // Boots: old River Island (similar HERE) // Heartshaped Sunglasses: Tiger (similar HERE)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I was visiting my hometown, Odense, a few weeks back, I had the chance to shoot some pics at these abandoned train tracks. My friend and I had a lot of fun with it. I probably shouldn't have worn both the earrings and the sunglasses together, but I didn't think about it at the time, and I thought you should see the outfit anyways. I love this dress from boohoo plus, and I've worn it on several occassions already. You've seen the denim jacket from Monki before, and it's really become a fast favourite, too.

Have a happy Sunday!
